What is the best iPod dock?
Okay so here is what I want in an iPod:
* It has to work with an iPod touch ( If it works with the iPod nano, the last one the made, they square on, that would be good too )
* It needs to play cds
* It HAS to have FM radio
* I would LOVE for it to charge my iPod
* It needs to have a remote
* It would be great if it had a sleep timer ( and an alarm if possible )
* And It really needs a remote
* And I would like it to look like kind of sleek and classy, NOT clunky and chunky!
* And it needs to have REALLY good sound
* AND…….IT NEEDS TO BE UNDER $300
So do you have a really good iPod dock? Or know of a really good one? Or suggest one? Thanks!!!
The CD player is going to be the deal breaker. The only ones with a CD player are boomboxes and shelf systems, in which case they won’t have something else you want like an alarm, a remote, charging. I highly recommend that you visit a local retailer with a big display. Take your iPod to Best Buy, for example, and play it on their display docks to compare sound quality and to make sure it’s one that charges the iPod Touch and iPhone. Most say they’re compatible, but that doesn’t mean it charges the iPod Touch. Be sure to read the fine print. I also recommend that you pass on iHome or any other iWhatever names. They’re priced as though their high-end, but they’re the ones that have people here every day with problems and no available tech support or customer service. Stick with Sony, Altec-Lansing, Logitech, Bose and you can’t go wrong.
