how could i publicize my pod-cast? so i can get more people to listen?

Im starting a podcast and i wanted to know how to go about doing it (for free).Im signed up for ourmedia
Are there any web sites(directory) that list podcasts.

Number one is to create an RSS 2.0 feed with your Podcast in it. Feedburner will do this for free, http://www.feedburner.com/ see Apple for instructions and more information, http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/techspecs.html now that you have the RSS Feed, follow the instructions to test it then you can submit your Podcast to the iTunes Podcast directory, again, for free. Of course, you will need iTunes installed to do that.
